Iron Making

The Basic Steel Process begins by supplying the raw materials. Coal, limestone, and iron ore are prepared and delivered to the site.

Coal is placed in the coke ovens to be processed into coke for supplying the blast furnace.

The Iron Ore is processed into Iron Ore Pellets.

The limestone crusher prepares the limestone for the blast furnace.

Coke, Coal, Iron Ore Pellets (Briquettes), and Limestone are placed into the Blast furnace. The Coke will act as fuel and is placed in separately. Pulverized coal is injected through the tuyeres into the lower portion of the blast furnace.  The coal and Coke will heat the mixture turning it into Molten Iron.
